New events this year include the Royal Trophy, a team event between Europe and Asia, and the inaugural Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, both in January, and BA-CA Golf Open in Austria.

  • European Seniors:
  • This year's tour includes the Senior British Open Championship, with a record-breaking ?1 million prize fund, and a 144-strong field drawn from the best Seniors Tour talent from around the world.

  • Ladies European Tour:
  • This year's tour has events at locations from South Africa to Austria, including the Women's British Open at Royal Lytham & St Anne's.

  • US PGA Tour:
  • The big daddy of them all runs through the year, and includes the Players Championship, held this year at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

  • US Champions:
  • The big month for the seniors is July, which sees both the U.S. Senior Open Championship, at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Kansas, and also the Senior British Open Championship, which visits Turnberry in Scotland this year.

  • US LPGA:
  • July is a busy month for the ladies, with the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship starting just four days after the U.S. Women's Open.

  • Nationwide Tour: Participants in the Nationwide Tour will earn their air miles this year. In addition to the US based tournaments, there are also events in Panama City, and Adelaide, Australia!

  • Asian Tour: This record breaking tour has over 600 entries this year, for events in Thailand, Malaysia and China.
