Shopping : golf gadgets
Although you may pretend that you need them, golf gadgets are really more about the cool factor. Although some are quite useful, these big boys' toys are much more about looking good and impressing your buddies. Whatever else you think about golf gadgets, they are certainly imaginative. Options include a remote-controlled caddy, a watch that tracks your score, or a driver that improves your distance.
Still not convinced? How about these gadgets?
The Golf Guide is a handheld electronic golf course companion. If you're on a trip to the States, you quickly can find the closest golf course, and once you're playing, it will keep scores for up to four players. Or maybe you want to improve your driving accuracy and power (who doesn't?) Then the MG Driver is for you. Its oversized head creates a larger sweet spot which claims to gain you an extra 30 yards.
Other popular choices include special putter grips, various rangefinders, the Butch Harmon laser trainer or electronic swing groover to improve your swing, and the executive putting set for a bit of practice in the office. If you like your golf gadgets with a touch of electronics, you can while away the hours of darkness playing a PC golf simulator game, keep track of your game on a digital golf scorecard, or read the lie of the green with a green reading level.
For cold days there's foot warmers and hand warmers, and when the light starts to fade just use your Bright Ball detector. And, if all else fails, you can always play Monopoly Golf Edition.
